#4

I'm afraid to admit that I'm totally out of the loop of Obama's Inauguration, but I have been using up some of my studying time for finals clicking around TIME.

All these photos invoke this sort of feeling inside of me. Almost like I want to cry, but not really. Pretty much just an overjoyhappyecstaticnervouscurious-bonanza!

I'm hoping to watch some actual coverage tonight, and maybe even get to see why Michael didn't enjoy the poetry reading so much.

Speaking of Michael: he tagged me to find the fourth photo out of my fourth folder (say that three times fast!), post it up here, and say a little bit about it.

If you don't recognize this, it's from a Wii. My friends and I were at the mall (which unfortunately, is the only place to go in this town and quickly losing its not-so-great-to-begin-with appeal) and decided to drop in at GameStop. After watching some gangly boys swing the controls around, one of my friends proceeded to create her own Mii.

It started out sort of looking like her, but after discovering some other add ons such as moles and mustaches... well as you can see, we just couldn't resist.

Sort of an angry Dumbledore mixed with Cindy Crawford... oh and a bit of my friend mixed in there too.

Onto my tags:

Hail to the Thief. Maybe she'll show us some interesting snapshots of her "surburban nightmare?"

Rosalie Bass. Even if she decides not to present a photo, a trip to her site will be more than worth it with her sharp, biting commentaries on life.

Daughter. Who knew that 3 lines of words could make me laugh so hard? Maybe she'll put up a good photo or two to describe some of those ingenious haikus?

Zobot Robot. My San Franciscan twin. Another entertaining and better writer than I.

Onto studying for finals! Only two more days left....

Thanks for the tag.
I am both flattered and humbled.

Good luck on your finals.
