... Middlesex...

I've been thinking a lot about colleges lately.

And I know it sounds pretty bad, but about 75% of the reason why I started volunteering and doing so many other activities is because I want to load up my transcript. Still, I'm not saying that I don't like staying busy, it's just that the looming fear of applying my junior/senior year is keeping me more than motivated.

So my top choices are Berkeley, Stanford, and NYU. Of course my parents are really pushing for Harvard... but come on, is that even a possible feat??

But I was talking to my mum the other day, and a very interesting suggestion came up.

For those of you who don't know, I was born in London, England. When my parents were young, they traveled a lot around the world, hitchiking and backpacking. They spent most of their time in Sri Lanka and Japan, but they settled down in London for a bit where they established a still existing Korean newspaper.

Anyways, I was born there (in Middlesex Hospital, a name which precedes many giggles for some reason) and stayed for about a couple of months.

Now I need to research this a bit more, but my mom believes that I'm still eligible for a British citizenship, and that maybe I can go to school overseas after high school!

Again, this is something that should be looked up... but man, it would be beyond skill if I could go back across the pond.

Ohh, and I got my report card today:

Symphonic Strings Honors: A
American Studies Honors (Eng): A
American Studies Honors (Hist): A
Chemistry Honors: A
Health Honors: A
Algebra 2 Honors: A
Latin 2 Honors: A

Does it sound like I'm gloating? Because I'm sorry if I am :)

Well done, it's a relief even getting slight praise!

I'd like to travel a bit before I commit to a university/college. I haven't made any decisions as to where I'd like to study yet, it seems ages away.

You are gloating, but it's alright- you deserve it. Now go make yourself a steaming cup of green tea, sit on your snow-filled deck (If it's not still -46), and let the world bask in your glow.
