Fried Spam

First off; thanks to BLACK.blood for the interesting book suggestion [Identical by Ellen Hopkins], I'm going to reserve it from the library right now!

Oh and she also brought up the color of my blog. I admit that I changed the scheme because I just wanted a change and this was just a simple, easy one. However, if anyone has any suggestions as to what hue would be the most enjoyable for the eyes, feel free to say so!

Well today I was checking my email (ugh, so prehistoric, right?) and I realized the sad, sad truth. I have 11, 803 messages in my inbox, but about 2% of them are from actual people.

What does this mean?

It means something along the lines of 98% of advertisements, Urban Dictionary Word of the Days, UN Wire updates, Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters ads, Greenpeace newsletters, and waywayway too many Facebook notifications.

Pathetic, right?

So I decided today to create an all new email address in which I would still get some of the above messages, but also incorporate some human contact.

My new one is swedishfishnovels@gmail.com

Feel free to send me a message! However, I do delete emails if I do not recognize the name of the sender so don't forget to put something about blogging in the subject line.
